Before placing an order, please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
Placing an Order
Orders can be placed via our website at www.furthrows.com or by telephone through our Customer Service Team. Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email confirmation detailing the items ordered and the price, along with a separate confirmation from the payment provider.
If we are unable to accept your order, we will contact you as soon as possible. This may occur if an item is discontinued or out of stock, if a pricing or description error has occurred, or if payment authorisation is unsuccessful.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£). Customers may also view prices in USD or EUR using the currency selector on our website. Payment is usually made by credit or debit card, but we also accept PayPal, bank transfer, or cheque. Payments made by cheque or bank transfer must be in GBP sterling. Please do not send cash through the post.
The price shown at the time of purchase is the price paid. We are unable to refund any difference if an item is later discounted. Prices shown in currencies other than GBP may vary slightly due to exchange rates applied by your bank or card provider.
Payment Security
All payment information is processed securely. We use trusted payment providers including PayPal and Opayo, both of which employ advanced encryption technology. Payments can also be taken securely over the telephone if preferred.
For bank transfers, payment details will be provided in your order acknowledgement. Orders will not be processed until cleared funds are received. Any bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender.
Taxes & Import Duties
Any taxes or import duties applied outside the UK are the responsibility of the purchaser. If duties or taxes are refused, any costs incurred for return shipping or re-importing goods into the UK will be charged to the customer.
Dispatch & Lead Times
While we aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, delays may occur during busy periods, due to high demand or manufacturing constraints. For this reason, please allow up to 28 days for delivery.
Many of our items are handmade to order. Furniture items typically take around 4 weeks to produce. Special designs or bespoke items may take longer, and special-sized throws or cushions may take up to 3 weeks during busy periods.
If you require an order for a specific date or occasion, please contact us before placing your order so we can advise on delivery times.
Sizes & Colour Variations
Due to the nature of the materials used, all sizes are approximate and subject to normal manufacturing tolerances. While we make every effort to represent products accurately in photographs, colours may appear slightly different depending on monitor settings.
Fabric batches can vary, and exact colour matching between separate orders cannot always be guaranteed. When ordering multiple items together, we usually make them at the same time to ensure consistency.
Natural materials such as cowhide are unique. Variations, blemishes, and markings are natural characteristics and not considered faults. If you are unsure about colour or texture, we recommend requesting a fabric sample before ordering.
Product names are for descriptive purposes only and do not guarantee a direct match to similarly named items from other suppliers.
Delivery Addresses
Please ensure delivery addresses are complete and suitable for signature delivery. Couriers do not deliver to PO Boxes. A contact telephone number is required in case of delivery issues.
Couriers will attempt delivery up to three times. If delivery is unsuccessful, the parcel may be returned to us, and any additional return or re-delivery costs will be charged to the customer.
Incorrect address details may result in additional delivery charges.
Delivery Charges
Delivery costs are charged separately and reflect the actual cost of shipping, based on weight and volume. In many cases, we absorb part of this cost. Ordering multiple items may not significantly increase the delivery charge.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible and confirm cancellation in writing by email. Orders for special or bespoke items cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
We reserve the right to deduct any non-refundable payment processing fees unless the cancellation is initiated by us.
Returns & Refunds
If goods arrive damaged or incomplete, please notify us immediately. Items must be returned within 7 days in unused condition and, where possible, in original packaging for a full refund.
In exceptional cases, non-faulty items may be accepted for return at our discretion. Shipping costs will be deducted from any refund. We must be notified of return intentions within 3 working days of delivery.
Special or bespoke items are non-returnable. Returned goods remain the customer’s responsibility until safely received by us. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
We strongly recommend using insured and tracked return services. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in return transit.
Product Descriptions
Product descriptions are provided for general guidance and are not intended to be legally binding. We cannot accept responsibility for colour variations caused by screen settings or display differences.
Liability & Disclaimer
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Otherwise, Furthrows.com/The Throw Company Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or data.
Our total liability for any product shall not exceed the purchase price paid. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control.
These terms apply only to this website. We are not responsible for the content of external sites linked from our website.
